Author's POV~

"It's an important deal, if it's not done, All. Of. You. Are. Fired"
Aayansh yelled at his employees, while they stood there, feeling fear as they realized the seriousness in his voice.
Saying this, he walked out of the conference room.
"The employees are not at fault, they are trying but she isn't willing to sign the deal"
Vihaan whispered as he walked behind him.

"Why?"
Aayansh led out a question, feeling confused and frustrated.
"She wants to meet you"
Vihaan revealed, adding more to Aayansh's curiousity.
"Alright! Fix a meeting"
Aayansh ordered decisively as he made his way towards his office.

Vihaan, being filled with uncertainty, took no time in arranging a metting for Aayansh.
While Aayansh sat there in his office, eagerly waiting for Kriti to come by as he wanted her to be in his office.
Reaching towards his phone he texted her...

Aayansh: Perhaps you forget I asked you here.

Kriti: I ain't coming.

Aayansh: You will.

Kriti's respond made him annoyed.
Sitting there frustrated, an idea popped in his head as he decided to sneak into Kriti's home.

Heading towards his car, he accelerated the car towards Kriti's home.
Stealthily making his way towards the backyard of her house, he skillfully climbed up the window of her balcony.
As he made his way up, he could feel the rough texture of the wall against his palm, carefully scaling the height.

As he managed to get in, he  peered in the bedroom through the window.
Finding no one inside, he got in and settled himself on Kriti's soft bed, her scent lingering in the air.
He explored her room, while his gaze fell upon the photo frames adorning the wall in front of him.
He couldn't help but get captivated by he photographs of Kriti and her sister while they were kids.
Feeling guilty of his words, he looked towards Kriti's cherished past.

As the sound of the door knob twisting reached his ears, he quickly composed himself.
The door swung open, revealing Kriti, as she walked in.

Kriti's eyes widened in shock as she led out a loud shout.
"Ahhhhhhhh!!"
Aayansh too quick to react, covered her mouth with his palms trying to calm her down.
Kriti pushed him away and with a mix of shock, locked the door and questioned "What the hell are you doing here? How did you get in?"

Before Aayansh could respond, her father's voice interrupted them as he questioned Kriti from outside the room "What happened? Why did you shout?"

Kriti startled by his question, unaware of what to respond, came up with a excuse and replied "No- Nothing, I just saw a very big cockroach"
"The cockroach is your favourite"
She whispered to herself, adding humour to the situation.

"Then let him meet his favourite cockroach" Aayansh muttered as he pretended to walk out.
"No no! Have you gone mad?"
Kriti spoke as she held him, not letting him go out.
"Why are you here?"  She again questioned.

"To get you, I asked you to come"
Aayansh answered.
"You could've come from the door" Kriti whispered as she felt it weird, Aayansh sneaking into her bedroom like a thief.
"I'll go back from the door, if you do not come with me" He answered while Kriti looked at him with disbelief.
"Fine! I am coming, now leave"
Kriti spoke, getting irritated as she agreed to go with him.

"Yaha se ya vaha se?"
Aayansh questioned, gesturing his hand towards the door and the window.
(From here or there?)

"Vaha se" Kriti responded firmly as she pointed towards the window, indicating him to move out through the window.
(From there)

"Get down in 10 minutes"
He spoke as he made his way towards the window.
As he reached the ground, a sense of accomplishment washed him while he looked at Kriti who stood in the balcony, gesturing him to go out.
The sneaky descent halted when the caretaker of Kriti's home caught them in act.
The sudden encounter left them feeling embarrassed as Kriti hid her face with her palms, trying to cover the awkwardness while the caretaker looked at her with a smirk on her face.

Getting inside, she couldn't help but chuckle at Aayansh antics.
Changing into a grey suit and a skirt that fell just over her knees, fitting her perfectly and adding elegance to her look, Kriti rushed downstairs.
"Where are you going?" Her father questioned with curiosity.
"Office" she responded and hurriedly stepped towards Aayansh's car.

As Kriti got into his car, she couldn't help but mutter "You embarrassed me so much"
"Did you forget about the hotel? You are the one who embarrassed me there" Aayansh responded as he accelerated the car.
"So why did you pick me up?"
Kriti questioned, getting confused.

"Aapko acche se baat karna aata nhi ya fir aap karti hi nhi hai?"
Aayansh muttered as he felt, Kriti, not listening to him.
"Hum aapse nhi karte" Kriti reciprocated back.
(You don't know how to talk well or you don't do it at all?)

(I do not do it with you)

Getting inside the office, she quietly followed him towards his cabin.
"So tell me, why are we here?"
Kriti questioned as she seated herself, confusion lingering on her face.
"Do you know anything about your dad's company?" Aayansh questioned while Kriti nodded in a no.
As he retrieved a bunch of files from his desk drawer, he sterned Kriti "Study these files, this is all the information about your company"
Kriti looked at him, surprised by his directive as she didn't expect such a serious task.
"What are they?" She questioned.

"The dynamics of complex interactions between clients, financial performance, strategic partnerships and revenue,
This is all"  He completed while Kriti looked at him puzzled, clearly struggling to grasp with the dynamics.
"What?? Can you explain those terms to me?" She questioned, confused.

Sensing her confusion, he chuckled and blurted out "Your dad's company is going to get a big loss"
"Shut up and explain" Kriti yelled at him.

"Clients are the people who buy stuff from the company, their satisfaction brings in money, which is revenue. Financial performance is how well the company is doing financially. And strategic partnerships are like teaming up with other businessmen to make things happen" Aayansh explained while Kriti's face brightened as she started to understand.

"Now study these, I'll be back"
He added as he made his way out.
Kriti started going through the documents, but quickly found herself getting bored.
The papers seemed endless and her mind was craving for some excitement.
As time passed, she found herself getting increasingly bored while studying the documents.
Reaching out towards her phone, she decided to message Aayansh.

Kriti: Where are you?

Aayansh: Do not disturb me
                 I am in a meeting!

Kriti: Can I come there?

Aayansh: Do not mess it up! Its
                  important.

Kriti: *wink emoji*

Heading out, she made her towards the conference room.
Entering the room, her eyes scanned the room for Aayansh.
Her eyes landed on him, engaged in a conversation with a captivating girl.
Her wavy hair, fell upon her shoulders, her eyes sparkling with passion.

Eager to join the conversation, she made her way towards them.
Aayansh's gaze fell upon her as he introduced her.

"She is Kriti Singhania, daughter of her Amit Singhania"
He expressed it to the woman in front of him.
With a smirk on her face, the woman looked at Aayansh and whispered "I didn't know you would act so swiftly, but anyways the deal is so important to you"

"Sorry?" Kriti muttered, taken aback by her remark.
"Natasha Kapoor" The woman spoke, extending her hand for a handshake.
"I am Rohan, her secretary"
A manly voice from behind interrupted their conversation.

The conversation continued while Aayansh and Natasha delved into their business discussion and Kriti sat there listening to them, attentively.
What caught her off-guard was Rohan's gaze fixated on her thighs that made her feel uneasy.

Feeling uncomfortable, she abruptly stood up and unleashed her anger at him "If you stare at my thighs for even a second more, I will gouge out your fucking eyes and play billiards with them"
Her face flushed with anger as Rohan muttered "You bitch! I dare-"
But before he could complete his words a resounding slap landed on his right cheek.
The sound echoed through the room as Kriti swung her hand and slapped him forcefully once again.
The shock on Rohan's face was evident as she spoke "What? You think you can still raise your voice?"

The tension in the atmosphere grew while Aayansh stood there, with a proud smirk on his face he spoke "We'll continue this meeting later, Ms. Kapoor"
His words carried a mix of arrogance as he was impressed by Kriti's courage and her bold actions.
She stormed out of the room while Aayansh followed her with a proud smirk.

"Do not tell me that I messed up, I can't tolerate this constant staring!"
Kriti muttered angrily as she noticed Aayansh trailing behind her.
"I won't say anything. Even I am scared of you now" Aayansh spoke and Kriti chuckled hearing him.

"I hope it doesn't affect your deal" Kriti spoke with a hint of concern.
He assured her by saying
"It won't, it's as important to her as it is to me"
